Composition Shingle

In 1926, Elliott and Elliott Company introduced the Bay Area to a new, fire-resistant roofing material known as the "patent shingle". From the traditional three-tab fiberglass shingle to the new super heavyweight shingles that simulate the color, texture and shadow lines of more expensive roofing materials, Elliott and Elliott Company has installed literally thousands of composition shingle roofs.

Composition shingles have long been the material offering the most value - consistent product, longer warranties, less expensive than other traditional roofing materials. This had long given composition shingles a lower status as a roofing product. This has all changed in the last 15 - 20 years. Composition shingles are now being installed on all types of homes - from the small bungalow to the mansion on the hill.

The choices in composition shingles has caused this shift in perception. Shingles are now available in many different designs, warranties, and colors. There is a shingle for almost everyone's taste and budget.

We have achieved the highest available certification from both CertainTeed and GAF/Elk. We are a Select Shingle Roofer from CertainTeed and a Master Elite Contractor from GAF/Elk.
